The Railway Department of the Board of Communications

having agreed to construct as soon as possible a loopline connect- -ing the Kowloon-Canton with the Canton-liankow Railway, it is here- -by further agreed that rules for the interchange of traffic and rolling-stock and for through bookings and through rates shall

hereafter be settled by the Administrations of the British and

Chinese Sections of the Kowloon-Canton Railway with the Administra-

-tion of the Canton-Hankow Railway and that the British Section of the former Railway shall be a party to any agreement made for through traffic from the latter Railway to the port of Hongkong and

vice-versa..
